| Coach Webb was born in Romance, White County, Arkansas, son of Mallard Stanley Webb and Vera Corbin (Forbess) Webb. He received the B.A. Degree from Harding College at Searcy, Arkansas. He married on April 20, 1940 in White County, Arkansas, to Marian Quattlebaum, who also served on the Hughes faculty as an elementary teacher. After their year teaching at Hughes, they settled at Bebee, White County, Where he died June 21, 2006, burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Cemetery. |
