| Hughes Public School 1966-1967 |
November 27, 1966 marks the passing of long time school librarian Mrs. O. E. Worrell due to
injuries received in a traffic accident. Mrs. Worrell came to the Hughes school with her
husband Mr. O. E. Worrell in 1947.
New faculty members added during the 1966-67 school year were:
Mrs. Gary Smith, ESEA Secretary
Miss Mary Ann Hurliman, Librarian
Martin Pyron, Social Studies
Miss Wanda Rice, 3rd Grade
Mrs. Marcia Rainwater, 4th Grade
Mrs. Linda Staggs, 6th Grade
