| Miss Conditt was born September 21, 1906 at Tuckerman, Jackson County, Arkansas, daughter of Rufus Lindley Conditt and Georgia Louella (Harrison) Conditt. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, and she appears in the 1930 Census as a public school teacher in the Hughes School System. Miss Conditt married David Pickney Deal on June 14, 1931 at Hughes. She died May 31, 1994 at Little Rock, burial in Roselawn Memorial Park, Little Rock. She was a sister of Robert “Bobbye” Hazel (Condit) Mosby, also a Hughes teacher in 1930. |
